So excited to be kicking off this years gift guide with my most challenging one. I always struggle every year with my parents and in laws and I got a ton of request for this gift guide. Obviously there is a huge range of gifts on here. There is a lot of tech gifts, but I think your parents will really enjoy those as long as you help them out if they need it. haha. Also, there is a lot of personalized gifts which is always my go to. Parents love gifts that remind them of memories. I hope you enjoy this gift guide. Happy Shopping! I will be adding things as I find them as well, so be sure to be following me on instagram for updates. xo
Photobook Okay this is such a good gift for really anyone, but I love this because it is something they can keep forever. So easy to put together with pictures you have on your computer. This can be anywhere from photos of the whole year of memories together, or a family vacation you went on together!
Massages – Everyone loves a massage. This is the perfect gift for a grandparent or parent because a lot of people don’t love buying massages for themselves but are thrilled to go and treat themselves.
Gift Card to a bed and breakfast- This could be somewhere in their town, or somewhere close by. They can use this whenever to go relax and get away. You could even do a gift card to airbnb, home away, etc.
Gift Card to favorite restaurant- Everyone loves a night out!
Tickets!!! Tickets to a sporting event, theater, a performance, concert, etc. This is a fun experience for everyone, and maybe find one that you can join them for.
Happy Tuesday friends!
I am 100% a boots girl. I am pretty much always wearing flp flops or boots. This year I am loving the western vibe that a lot of companies are coming out with. Since the weather is suppose to be getting cooler, we are still in the high 70’s, it is perfect to shop for some boots. The holidays are creeping, so I thought I would share some inexpensive boots that would be the perfect addiction to your holiday outfits, family photos, or even a gift.
Happy Friday Friends!
Back here with my Friday favorites for you. So excited the holidays are coming.. and they are coming up so quick. There are so many cute sweaters on sale, perfect for holiday parties and get togethers.I don’t know about you, but I love to be cozy on Thanksgiving day and Christmas Day so I can eat all the treats.
This weekend we are doing a whole lot of nothing. Catching up on stuff around the house and planning my big boys birthday! He is almost FOUR, I can not even believe it. I hope you all enjoy your weekends and start getting ready for lots of annoying gift guides headed your way
xo
I missed the last two weeks of Friday Favorites, because life got wild for a minute. It still is wild, but I am trying to play catch up. We spent last weekend away at the beach, and now we are home and have a visitor for a week: my little brother. He is 11 but dang I am tired haha. After trying to fit in all the “Halloween” activities with him: pumpkin patch, carving etc. I am hoping to relax a little the next few days. Oh and finish my kids costumes, yup.. still doing that. I rounded up some good sales and things I was loving in store this week!
Enjoy your weekend babes! xo.
I can not even believe that Dekker starts preschool tomorrow. So many emotions going on over here!
Dekker is beyond excited to make friends, and play with all their toys he says. We went and toured the school about three weeks ago and he was begging me not to leave after. It is definitely a good thing how excited he is, but he told me yesterday that I have to wait in the parking lot for him since I told him I am not allowed at school. I think this kid has been ready for a long time, although I know it could not go as well as I am hoping for.
For the longest time I never thought we would put him in school until he started pre k. But I was feeling like it was getting more hard to sit down with him and work on letters and number because of his cute and wild little brother wanting to rip apart everything we did. I didn’t want him to feel behind in any way, so it was a somewhat easy decision even though I want him to stay home forever haha. With traveling so much I was so worried he would have a hard time getting that routine ripped away from him when the time came to move again. By the time we are done traveling it would be perfect timing for him to get ready to start pre k, but after finding the perfect school that pushes academics in pre school we felt like it was time and that he was be okay when the move comes. Dekker is SO social, always has been, and wants to be friends with everyone. This is something I love so much about him.
There are so many emotions mamas go through when their babes first start school. I can’t even imagine the feelings I will feel when he officially starts kindergarten, but baby steps for this mom are enough. Are your kids going to be kind? Are they going to get bullied? Be the bully? Will they share? Respect their teachers? Will they struggle in school? You wonder if the kids around your kid will be a good influence. Will they make a lot of friends? Gosh so many things, and all the feels. You worry that maybe you and your husband didn’t prepare them enough for situations, oh and I’m sure so many situations and questions are to come.
It is so normal to worry about every little thing, but we are excited. We are making this big change very exciting in our family. ❤️Dekker and I have been inseparable since he was born. He was my unexpected gift I was given, and changed my life forever at 21 years old. Tomorrow is going to be different for sure, but I am happy to have some one on one time with Kanon. Say a prayer as we tackle the drop off, and first day of pre school tomorrow. ❤️Mom might need them more than Dekker.
I am a little behind, but just got some of the boys fall clothes in. They are growing too fast, and needed new clothes so bad. Dekker will be starting school hopefully soon, so that was another reason we wanted to get the boys some new clothes. Fall and winter is my favorite for little boys. I didn’t include beanies yet, but there is nothing cuter than little boys with beanies and vans on. I am all about buying things that can mix and match. I like super plain and this year added some flannels. I know some people like their kids to pick their outfits, but that is not really my style. Sorry boys… I did however let Dekker pick out his shoes, but the boys don’t really care what they wear so I will enjoy dressing them as long as I can! Surprisingly I didn’t do too much matching… who am I?!
Coming at you this Friday with some of my favorites. There are some awesome sales going on, so of course I am going to share with you some of them!
This weekend we are staying home, hopefully going to the pumpkin patch tonight, and are going to make some festive halloween popcorn. I do not have any decorations up… am I crazy?! I feel like we have been buying decorations for our new home that will last forever that I haven’t really wanted to buy anything that is focused on just fall. Maybe after we go to the pumpkin patch I will feel more fall inspired. What is your favorite fall decoration that you can’t wait to put up?!
Hope you all have a fun weekend!

It’s Trunk Club Day around here!! My favorite day. Trunk Club is a Nordstrom’s Brand, so everything you receive is from their. You pay $25 to get a trunk full of 10 items that your stylist has chosen for you, and if you buy anything in your trunk the $25 is waived. If you have a Nordstrom card (debit or credit) this fee is also waived. It is sooo worth it. I love getting to try on everything in my own home, with no attachments. Sometimes I keep a few items and sometimes I send things back.
This trunk I requested some athleisure wear and a new pair of black denim. I love that you can tell your stylist what you are looking for. Have a wedding? Want sweaters for fall? Tell your stylist!! Try Trunk Club
