Happy Friday & Labor Day weekend! So excited for this long weekend and I’m sure ya’ll are as well. We have ZERO plans which I’m a little bitter about, but have a few ideas so cant wait to spend time together and go on some adventures with my fam. Ive rounded up some great sales happening this weekend.. ENJOY.
Happy Friday! It has been a hot minute…but I am trying to get back into the swing of things. We are enjoying a night relaxing at home and tomorrow Dekker has his first soccer game. So fun! I hope you all enjoy your weekend.
Girls nights are always my favorite. My friends and I always try to do dinners every month or as often as we can, and most of the time we go out to dinner but I wanted to do something a little different this time. I had heard about a “favorites things party” and thought it would be so much fun to throw one, so last week I hosted one for seven friends and myself. We did a little pot luck taco night and I set up this table outside which was SO easy. I got pallets from my in laws and did absolutely nothing to them but stack them. My husband thought I was a little crazy when I told him my idea, but hey it worked! All the pillows, rugs, and blankets I stole from inside my house. Just wanted to add a little twist to a girls night, and we loved it.
What is a favorite things party?
It is pretty simple, but everyone that comes picks an item or more that love and buys however many for each person coming. We set a price limit of $10 which can totally depend on how many people you have coming. Since there was 8 of us (including yourself) you bring 7 items to give. When you leave the party you end up with 7 different favorite things from your friends.
This was so fun to share things you love, maybe a product you cant live without, or anything that is your favorite. I told my friends this could be ANYTHING no limits. Anything from beauty products, cleaning products, a food or drink item. Such a fun way to do girls night!
Dekker is officially headed to “big kid school”, TK, in two weeks and this mama can not get over it. We had so much fun shopping and rounding up some favorite items we personally love, and some other items we are crushing on. Including a snoop dog T-shirt that Dekker won’t stop asking if I bought it for him. HAHA. Also, if Dekker picked out everything he would be in head to toe camo.

Happy Sunday! I know most of you are shopping the sale now, and so many things are out of stock but there are still a lot of really great things. Sharing things that are still in stock and on the look out for any restocks. I don’t know if they will have restocks on anything, but normally people will buy multiple sizes and return and occasionally there will be more items back in stock. Here are some great womens items that are still in stock.
I braved the Nordstrom Anniversary sale today. Things are flying off the shelfs and I tried on what I could. I didn’t even make it to try on any shoes, but I am sitting here going through the ones I did check out. There are lots of good items on sale right now, and I will be sharing a lot more. Here is some of my favorite in store items. The first photo is a pj set that was my best seller at the sale last year.. they are SO good and come in long sleeve and pants as well. ENJOY shopping!

Athletic wear had lots of good items. Such a great price point for really nice leggings. Loved this green jacket as well.
Okay this lounge set was so good and I am wishing I would have brought it come with me because the second I got home I put on sweats haha. SO comfy, and honestly I would wear this out running errands or school drop off when it gets cooler.
This leopard cardigan is a hot ticket item, and luckily I found a random one in the wrong spot and took it home with me. I had about five people ask me where I found it when I was walking around.
If you have been wanting anything barefoot dreams now is the time. These are so soft I cant take it.
Loved this made well sweater and the fun colors. This came home with me and I cant wait to wear it in the fall.

So many great cardigans I wanted to buy them all. This lace tank is a repeat from last year and I have it in black and I am checking the site every five minutes for the white haha.
Obsessed with the sherpa pull over this year. Love the black trim against the cream. The pullover similar to this was my second most bought item last year… such a great item.

My favorite sale of all time is almost here! A few weeks away and I am already scouting out the catalog and getting ready to shop it. You all know I love a great sale, and I also LOVE Nordstrom.
WHEN IS IT?
sale starts July 12-18th for early access card holders! There is still time to become a cardholder.
July 19th the sale opens to public, and prices will go to normal prices August 5th.
WHY I LOVE IT?
I love this sale because these are new items that are on sale, that will be making a restock come fall. When they are restocked after sale then they are normal prices. All these styles are going to be on trend in the future so why not buy stuff on sale while you can.
HOW TO SHOP?
This sale is online and in store, and every year I do a little of both. I will be covering this sale quit a bit because this a great time to get high quality fashion forward items. You will be able to buy directly from my links on my blog or through the liketoknow it app. I will be showing my favs in different categories plus doing a try on in store like last year, but remember I am a card member so if you are not you won’t be able to shop the sale until it goes public.
WHAT DO I LIKE TO GET?
I think every year the shoes are the best bang for your buck. You can get higher priced boots , tennis shoes, etc. on sale. They also have so many great basics every year, I can not wait to share what I find.

Happy Friday babes!! Happy it is the weekend because Cody actually has the whole weekend off for once. So yay to that! I am spending this evening celebrating my besties birthday, and Saturday have a baby shower for a sister like figure in my life. Also my sis is coming into town so we are really excited about that!

It is officially summer in those household, and we are so excited! We are kicking it off at the Oregon coast and leave Monday so we are spending our weekend getting ready for that. I added some Father’s Day ideas since that is coming up really quick.
