Happy Monday! It is trunk club day! if you have never tried it, it is a personal stylist service. The company is a Nordstrom company so every item is from there. If you have a Nordstrom card the stylist fee is waived, but if not you pay $25 that can go towards an item you choose to keep. Kanon’s big boy bed!!

So excited to be finally sharing Kanon’s big boy bed with you guys. We switched our two year old into a bottom bunk bed a week before his second birthday. We definitely were not ready for this, but he sure was! He is always trying to do anything and everything like his big brother. With a little time he officially sleeps through the night, and puts himself to sleep in his own big boy bed. How do I already have bunkbeds in my life!?

One thing that made the transition smooth was getting a bedding he loved. We got the boho bedding from BEDDY’S.This is an amazing product! Both my boys LOVE their easy zip up bedding. They have zips on both sides of the bed. No need to buy sheets because the bottom half has elastic and goes right around your mattress. I love it because beds can be easily made every morning without a fuss. Has anyone every tried to make a bunkbed!? I break out in a sweat haha, no thank you. Remember when we lived in a trailer for 3 years… I needed these in my life. The bedding from beddys makes it so easy. We are in love and I can’t rave enough about their bedding. My boys love that we chose to put the mink lining in, because of how soft and cozy it is( you do not have to). They have all sorts of prints and plain colors as well. We chose the oh so boho because I wanted it to grow with the boys and I love the boho vibe they have in their room. Add some pillows and a throw and we made the space their own. Xo

Go check out all the amazing products beddy’s has HERE !

Easy homemade Valentines

Hey guys! Next week is Valentines day so I wanted to share what we made for Dekker’s class. The boys had SO much fun making these and even my husband got involved in the process. Also, if you just want a fun valentines craft to do these are it.

STEP ONE: Soak crayons in warm water for 10 minutes. This makes it easy to peel the wrapper off each crayon. Then unwrap each crayon you want to use. ( we used three boxes, but only used colors we wanted)

STEP TWO: (Preheat oven to 220 degrees) Let your kids go wild and break the crayons into small pieces and place in heart mold. Make sure you fill them up to the top because they will melt. Let your little ones be creative with this part.

STEP THREE: Put mold on cookie tray, and bake for 10-15 minutes. My boys loved watching this process of the crayons melt and mix together.

STEP FOUR: Pull crayons out to cool and you are DONE!

We put them in mini treat bags for Dekker’s class, and made little tags( linked below). Such a fun and easy DIY Valentines that doesn’t include all the holiday candy. On your cards you can write anything you want, but a favorite is: Have a colorful day, or color your heart out!!

XOXO

Friday Favorite

Hey Friday and February 1st!! Does January always feel like the longest month?! I was thinking this the other day, and then looked at my memories today and I said the same thing last year haha, so it must be a thing. I am very happy February is here, I am not a huge valentines person, but I do love seeing all of it in stores.

My parents are coming to visit us tomorrow, and we are headed to the aquarium Sunday to continue Kanon’s birthday celebrations. And hopefully we will get to catch the end of the Super Bowl when we get home. Hope you all have a fun weekend with lots of yummy Super bowl food.

Kan is 2!

Happy Birthday to our baby, Kanon Gane. Holy cow, that flew by SO fast! At 6:32 pm TWO YEARS AGO this sweetie pie made me a mama of two. He still is my baby in my eyes, and I could eat him up. Yesterday we were at the park and I was watching the boys thinking how crazy life would be if things went as we “planned”. We weren’t planning to have another baby until after we were done traveling, and I could not imagine that. So glad god had a much better plan for our family, because this boy makes us feel so full.

This boy looks up to his big brother so much, and it is the cutest thing ever. Pretty much anything Dekker says there is an echo that follows. He has the most adorable deep voice that will win your heart over. He is definitely my mischievous one, and I am going to be honest.. I am up for the challenge. Right now I think its pretty cute, but I know soon it will challenge me. Ive already learned what worked for Dekker.. will not with this stubborn boy. I love that he is up for anything, and is so independent. He is very quiet in a large setting, but once he warms up this boy is hysterical. He is constantly making our family laugh, and he loves doing it. He loves to dance to any song on, play outside, and one on one time with mom or dad. He loves to ride his scooter, wrestle with brother, and loves any type of animal. He used to not be my cuddler, but I have trained him well, he is a major snuggle bug now and I love it. Forever and always a mamas boy!

Life is so joyous with you Kanon Gane, Happy Birthday baby boy. As Dekker would say, you’re number is officially 2!

Everyday Makeup routine!

Happy Tuesday babes! You guys know I love to try new product all the time: skincare, makeup, etc. It has been a minute since I have shared my everyday makeup routine with you guys, and what I have been using so I thought it was time. Sometimes I have to set my alarm early so I can squeeze it in for myself.

I do love hearing products you guys love so feel free to always share your new finds with me!
